Our Salon Story
Previously known as “Hair by Her” in my early days as a hairstylist, I now wanted to embrace and bring in the flavour of who I am - a proud Filipina. ‘Kaniya’ is Tagalog (Filipino) for ‘hers’ but in this native language it is actually gender agnostic allowing for inclusivity, while also emphasizing the client-focused experience I want to cultivate in my salon.
While we specialize in long locks, at Kaniya Salon we embrace the diversity and unique nature of each person's hair and strive to leave clients feeling like the best possible versions of themselves. The best part of being a salon owner and stylist is really getting to create a space where people can embrace their individuality and leave feeling more confident and radiant than when they entered. I am also committed to using high quality products that I use myself and believe in wholeheartedly, because healthy hair starts with the products we use and the way we regularly care for it. |

Her favourite part of being a stylist and studio owner is in helping her clients feel their personal best and watching their self-esteem sky-rocket after their new hair is revealed. Since then she completed training at Marca College before beginning working with Lisa for the past 6-7 years, growing into the industry pro she is.
Kedisha’s favorite part of being a hairstylist is teaching clients how to love and care for their hair. She specializes in the 3B’S - blondes, balayages, and bangs. She loves to watch her clients transform with confidence from the inside out. |
BriannaBrianna is our Junior Stylist. She was first introduced to her love for hair by her Mom, who is in the hair industry and used to take Brianna to the Salon with her.
